Elsewhere, with competition heating up, defence was the order of the month as current record holders shored up their existing scores to keep challengers at bay – for now!
- Dave Allen increased his Barebow Men 50+ Long National score
- Debbie Young increased her Compound Women 50+ Bristol II score
- Debbie Young increased her Compound Women 50+ National score
- Greg Lawrence increased his Recurve Men 50+ New Warwick score
- Llinos Edgeley increased her Longbow Women 50+ National 40 score
- Luke Halladay increased his Recurve Men American score
- Luke Halladay increased his Recurve Men WA 1440 (70m) score
- Stuart Chatwin increased his Recurve Men National 50 score.
And only two records changed hands with Debbie Young taking the Compound Women 50+ Stafford record off of Karen Williams and Jim Wild relieving Adrian Smith of the Barebow Men 50+ National 40 records.
Club records on the website have now been updated as of 31 July 2025. The next records update will be in early August so happy shooting and for those with specific records in their sights, happy hunting!
