To join Talisman Bowmen, you must have completed a recognised beginners’ course. This does not need to be Talisman Bowmen’s own course although we do, of course, commend it!

Membership Benefits Membership provides approximately 150 shooting opportunities a year. Benefits include:

• Year-round access to shoot across our three venues (two indoor and one outdoor).

• Guidance from club coaches for general development or specific form improvements.

• No additional “on the night” shooting fees.

• Club and Open Competitions

• A lively club social calendar

Annual Fees & Insurance Options The membership year runs from 1st April to 31st March. Pro-rata rates are available for those joining mid-year; please contact the Club Treasurer for details.

Your annual payment covers club running costs, venue access, and club equipment. You must hold valid insurance to shoot, with two options available:

• Archery GB Affiliation: Includes mandatory affiliation to SCAS and HAA. This provides personal insurance allowing you to shoot at the club and in external competitions.

  • Seniors: £162.00 (£90.00 Club Fee + £72.00 Affiliations)

  • Juniors/Students: £73.50 (£45.00 Club Fee + £28.50 Affiliations)

• Club-Only Insurance: A cheaper alternative to Archery GB affiliation. This option entitles you to shoot exclusively at Talisman Bowmen club sessions.  SCAS and HAA Affiliations are still required. (Please contact the Treasurer for current pricing)
