To join Talisman Bowmen Archery Club, you must have completed a recognised beginners’ course. This does not need to be Talisman Bowmen’s own course although we do, of course, commend it!
Membership Benefits Membership provides approximately 150 shooting opportunities a year. Benefits include:

Annual Fees & Insurance Options The membership year runs from 1st April to 31st March. Pro-rata rates are available for those joining mid-year; please see below for details.
Your annual payment covers club running costs, venue access, and club equipment. You must hold valid insurance to shoot, with two options available:

Archery GB Affiliation: Includes mandatory affiliation to SCAS and HAA. This provides personal insurance allowing you to shoot at the club and in external competitions.

Seniors: £72.00 Affiliations

Club-Only Insurance: A cheaper alternative to Archery GB affiliation. This option entitles you to shoot exclusively at Talisman Bowmen club sessions. (Please contact the Treasurer for current pricing).

- The club offers a 30% discount to additional family members in the same household.
- Club fees are weighted to reflect the higher cost of indoor shooting.

- AGB is due for renewal annually 12 months after joining, for those joining after October 2024.
- Affiliation rates may be subject to change. The current total will be confirmed when payment is requested.
- If you affiliate to AGB through another club you will need to provide proof of this to the Treasurer, otherwise you may be required to contribute to the cost of the club’s public liability insurance.
