August saw 24 Talisman Bowmen records set (four of them during the Club Sharpshooter Competition). Half of them were brand new and for the other half, consolidation was the theme of the month as increased scores outnumbered records changing hands by three to one.

- Julie Baker increased her Women 50+ Barebow Western 40 score
- Holly Smith increased her Women U16 Barebow National 40 score
- Debbie Young increased her Women 50+ Compound National 40 and Women 50+ Compound National 50 scores
- Matilda Haywood increased her Women U18 Compound National 50 score
- Luke Halladay increased his Men Recurve Western 50 score
- Pheobe Haywood increased her Women U14 Recurve National 30 score
Only three records changed hands this month:
- Mark Wild took the Barebow Men National 30 record from Toby Hayden
- Stuart Chatwin relieved Craig Haywood of the Recurve Man Warwick 50 record and
- Greg Lawrence snatched Adrian Smith’s Recurve Men 50+ Metric 122-50
Club records on the website have now been updated as of 31 August 2025. The next records update will be in early September so happy shooting and for those with specific records in their sights, happy hunting!
