Talisman Bowmen 2026 Strawberry Shoot

Sunday 12th July 2026

A relaxed and friendly shoot, the Talisman Bowmen Strawberry Shoot is an invitational torunament open to archers of any age, shooting any bow type. The shoot will be held at the Hunts Pond Road Recreation Ground, entrance opposite the Sir Joseph Paxton pub and will be conducted under Archery GB rules.

Registration is from 10am, proof of Archery GB membership will be required.
Assembly will be at 10.30am sharp and sighters at 10.45am.

National, National 50, National 40, and National 30 rounds are available.

Trophies & Medals

Medals will be awarded based on the Archery GB handicap adjusted scores.
The team competition will be determined by the adjusted scores of the top 3 archers from each team.

Lady Patron: tbc. Judge: Paul Richards. Field Captain: tbc.

Refreshments & Facilities

Tea and coffee will be available throughout the day; a lunch menu is
offered by the Sir Joseph Paxton and strawberries and cream will be served after shooting.

Entry Fee: £10 per person, £40 per team. Entry includes strawberries and cream. The Club Treasurer will contact you to provide payment details once your entry has been confirmed.

1) To take photographs you must register to do so with the tournament registrar. No unauthorised photography allowed. Talisman Bowmen will take photographs on the day for publicity purposes, and these may be used for promotional materials and on our website.
