Pompey & Circumstance
The Harbour Shoot predicatbly saw a slew of Portsmouth records:
- Holly Smith set a new Women’s U18 Barebow Portsmouth record while David Minter took the Men’s 50+ Compound Portsmouth record from Lee Guerrier.
Make Mine A Double
- Holly Smith and David Minter also set new club records for Women’s U18 Barebow Double Portsmouth and Men’s 50+ Compound Double Portsmouth, respetively.
- And while Mark Wild took the Men’s Barebow Double Portsmouth record from Dave Adlam, family honour was restored by Lilly Adlam and Ellie Adlam each setting new benchmarks for Women’s U18 Recurve Double Portsmouth and Women’s U16 Recurve Double Portsmouth .
It was the best of times, it was the Worcester times…
Outside of the rarified atmosphere of The Harbour Shoot, Luke Halladay set new club records for Men’s Recurve Metric II and Men’s Recurve Worcester while Ellie Adlam added to her March tally with another new record, this time for Women’s U16 Recurve Vegas.
Mike Kemp took the Men’s 50+ Barebow Worcester record from Jim Wild, but Mark Wild tightened his grip on the Men’s Barebow Worcester record and we round out this month’s round-up with three more record consolidations as Llinos Edgeley (Women’s 50+ Longbow WA 18m), Adrian Smith (Men’s 50+ Recurve Worcester) and Lilly Adlam (Women’s U18 Recurve Vegas) all improved their existing record scores.
