Typically, when we enter a tournament as a club Dean handles the entries, so if you fancy either of these it may be worth a chat with Dean. If he’s not able to deal with entries (occasionally away with work) he’ll guide you on what to do.
Tournaments to try!
John “Tournament” Taylor has kindly sent in the details below about a tournament aimed at Juniors and another that would be good for anyone thinking about trying a tournament out…
Archery GB Summer Metrics Postal Tournament
Archery GB are running the Summer Metrics Junior Postal Competition again this year, it has already started but there is still plenty of time left to have a go. You shoot a metric 6 dozen round, distances according to the table on the entry form. You can have as many attempts as you like anytime during July and August. Then take your best score only, pass it to me or send it off directly using the entry form attached. There is no entry fee, there are awards for the first 3 places in all age groups and bow styles. All the results will appear on the Archery GB website.
Good Luck, John.
JUNIORS: On this one please see Rebecca, who can tell you more and, as Junior Interest Officer, Rebecca’s your go to girl for handing in your scores and so on. Do have a go, you’ll enjoy the shooting and you’ll get to see your name in Archery UK magazine when the results are published! Click here to download the entry form.
