Waitrose are giving us a hand!

Lesley has been in discussion with Waitrose and has secured us one of their community support Green Pillars! If you’re not familiar with them, basically, when you shop in Waitrose you’re given a green token. There are three perspex pillars and you pop the token into the one that supports the cause you would like to suppport – in this case us! At the end of the time period of a few weeks the tokens get exchanged for cash which will come to the club and support the fund raising for our containers.

Our Green Pillar is in the Waitrose store at the Locks Heath Centre. If you shop there or pass by and need to pick something up form the supermarket it would be great if you could support us with your green token 😉 And, if you fancy using your new-fangled social media Facebook sort of stuff to ask all your friends and family to give us their green tokens too that would be smashing!
