Have-A-Go
Saturday 4th June 10am – 1pm on the field
We’re participating in the Archery GB “Big Weekend”, an initiative to give people the opportunity to “have-a-go” for free. We’ll be setting up from 9.30am and open to the public from 10am until 1pm. Volunteers welcome, extra hands for setting up and taking down are useful, it might be nice if we have a few people with different bows types available to chat to the visitors, people on hand to chat about the club and answer questions and generally make our visitors feel comfortable and welcome. The aim is to give people a introduction to archery and to go away with a greater awareness of the sport and hopefully with an interest sparked. Nice to see you there if you have some time.
