The new club shirts have arrived and got their first outing on bank holiday Monday at FoBB. Well received by members and others. The shirts are comfortable for shooting and worked well on a day when the weather was a bit changeable, shifting from sunny and calm to grey and windy, so all good on the comfort front. They also seem to come into the “easy care” category, I took mine out of the bag with all it’s creases from being packed, put it on and by the time I got to Horndean the creases had pretty much dropped out – my kind of shirt!
The shirts also gave us a nice “club presence” at the event. We were easy to spot on the line and it was nice that the shirts made it easy to see how many Talisman archers were present. We received and hear good comments on the shirts from other too, so that’s a bonus.
Thanks again to Dean for his work on this and for dealing patiently with the ups and downs en route – great work sir!
If you ordered a shirt in the first batch and don’t have it yet, see me (Derek), I have them in the car.
(the only reason I can think of for David’s expression is that he went to the trouble of ironing his shirt!)
