Our (distanced) AGM took place with 20 members present, the chairman’s Archie Spooner award was given to Lynsey, Alex and Morgan Tucker for 2019/2020 congratulations!
We awarded three 252 medals, and more 252’s are in course of completion, we had 65 1 hour slots attended on the field (mostly in glorious weather), and Alex Kellaway scored a six gold end. It doesn’t get a lot better in these uncertain times, the notes from the AGM can be found in the Members Area of the site.
Crookhorn entry form can be found here, please keep an eye on the FoBB website should you sign up (link is on the form) in the event of any changes or cancellations due to COVID-19.
In addition to your 252’s there are a number of Imperial and Metric rounds that you can shoot, these can also count towards getting a First/Second/Third Class Bowmen (or women!) awards too, which rounds count towards which award can be found on AGB website from page 46 depending on bow type.
When we can get back to shooting, please keep an eye on the changing start times Wednesdays and Fridays as we start to do battle with the decreasing light, please do continue to follow the guidance for shooting in the most recent newsletter and via AGB Guidance for Archery
